Hi! My name is Kristin Hernandez and I am passionate about quality care and education of young children. These are the most formative years of our little people, and whoever you entrust with their care should be knowledgeable and trustworthy. My specialty is children ages birth to 6, but I have experience with various ages. I have my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a wealth of experience in childcare in various settings. My passion for teaching goes back as far as I can remember. My cousin and I would play school and I was always the teacher. I knew I would one day work with kids in some capacity. I have worked as a caregiver in a drop-in center, a preschool teacher, and for the last (almost) 10 years, I have been in the field of nannying. My philosophy in nannying (and parenting my own) revolves around positive reinforcement--rewarding and modeling the behavior you want to see in your children. Our kids are not meant to be broken down and reshaped into a one-size-fits-all mold, but instead gently guided and encouraged to reach their full potential as unique individuals.
