Hi, my name is Nicole. I am a creative and energetic nanny with a passion for making childcare fun! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from The University of Cincinnati, and 20+ years experience working with infants, toddlers, elementary, high school, and children with special needs. My experience incudes being a full-time nanny for 2 amazing families, which I became an extension of their families very fast, as well as traveling with them on fun vacations. I was a swimming/diving coach while teaching swim lessons for 8 years, and General Manager of Aqua-Tots Swim Schools. I love to incorporate crafts, games, storytelling, math, science projects, acting/plays, and especially all outdoor activities with a structured plan each day. Being an athlete my entire life; competitive swimmer since 5 years old, playing soccer, volleyball, ran track, softball, basketball, marathon runner, and tri-athlete. I love to make learning fun for children by Read more incorporating trips to the zoo, aquarium, natural history museum and more. Some examples I love to teach are, math equation basketball/soccer, Spanish trivia, and a personal favorite of mine is inventing scavenger hunts for the kids! This has bèen a family favorite as well! I incorporate all parts of the world being well traveled myself, words in spanish, math equations, reading a page from a book they love, and if they answer correctly they advance to the next clue which indicates what room they should go to next. It has been so fun, the extended families wanted to make their own "theme scavenger hunts" for holidays! Teaching organizational skills, planning, and listening to what they love to do most, to me, is the most important to be rewarding and fun! I have a brand new Jeep for transportation, CPR/First-Aid Certification, and would also love to teach your children how to swim! I am happy to help with laundry, light housekeeping, running errands, meal prep, wrapping presents, grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, whatever your family needs. I have done it all, and love to! I am available Monday - Friday, 6am - 7pm and would love to learn how I can help support your family and bring joy to your children's lives!
