My name is Marianne, and my husband and I moved to Kent, OH almost 1 year ago. We have 1-year-old boy named Davis. I have previously worked in preschools, child care centers and as a nanny. I worked as a preschool teacher for 3 years in Louisville, KY and for an additional year in Bay Village, OH. I spent 2 of those years as a lead teacher in a classroom of 3 and 4-year-old students. As a nanny, I provided daily care for two families, both with preschool age boys. My duties included providing daily necessities such as meals and consistent, safe supervision. I also provided physical, intellectual, and social engagement by providing outings and in-home activities. As a preschool teacher, I have planned curriculum meant to prepare children for Kindergarten. I planned lessons that included language arts, math, and science activities, as well as helped students develop both fine Read more and gross motor skills. I am looking for a part-time position , and I am willing to come to your home or pick up your children and care for them in my home. I would be happy to provide transportation. I have a B.A. from Louisiana College, as well as a Master's Degree from Western Seminary in Portland, OR.
