I have three years experience working in a residential setting at Bellefaire with clients who have autism, downs sydrome, ADD, trauma, and mental and behavioral health. I help the clients do laundry, clean the unit and bedrooms, do schedules which includes, chores, some type of exercise, math problems or some other school work, hygiene whether that is helping or teaching them to brush their teeth, wipe after having a bowel movement, or helping with showering and brushing hair. I also work one on one with children with autism who are higher functioning but need assistance with homework and keeping busy. Outside of Bellefaire, I have baby sat.
