30yo hoping to find a family that I can be of service to and be an overall positive part of their lives. Willing to babysit in my home, your home, or out in the community, whichever you prefer. I live alone in a safe apartment in Ohio City, Cleveland with building cameras, secure parking garage, and a community/ media room that is always empty and ready for fun. I have reliable transportation, insurance, and car seats. I don’t have any pets but I’m comfortable with caring for pets. Flexible availability. Prefer part-time, or full-time if overnight. I recently graduated as a RTT practitioner and certified hypnotherapist and will be starting my private practice very soon. I have a Bachelors degree in Social Work. I previously worked as a caseworker for Lucas County Children Services (child protective services) for 7yrs. I also completed 36 additional training hrs per yr while employed; Read more on a variety of in depth topics related to child development, safety, trauma, mental health, substance abuse, family systems, culture etc. In college I interned at The Providence Center for Social and Economic Empowerment; assisting with court ordered anger management, domestic violence, and parenting classes. In college I held various campus and community service positions through Kappa Delta Sorority and the student social work organization. In HS I interned at an elementary school and in the physical therapy department of a geriatric assisted-living home. I’m the 2nd oldest of 10 children in my family, therefore plenty babysitting experience; including experience with behavioral and learning disabilities such as autism and ADHD. 2 paid babysitting jobs not family. Happy to give references for foster parents that I’ve worked with over the years placing children in their homes. I was very involved and would often transport to medical, school and therapy appts, and very hands on while supervising parents visitations etc. The rest of my work experience has been in the restaurant industry. I enjoy art and photography, and completed college level art courses as well. Guaranteed to make babysitting a fun experience for all ages!
