I am 21 years old, I attend the University of Kentucky, and I grew up in Columbus, Ohio. One of my passions is photography, but I love arts and crafts in general. I love to be outside. I have always been around children. I have worked with a family of three girls. At the time when I started caring from them they were 2, 4, and 6 years old. I have also worked for a family with a 2 almost 3 year old girl and a 4 almost 5 boy. I have also cared for my two cousins from 0 months to 5 years. In past summers I was a certified Red Cross water safety instructor (swim lesson teacher). I was a swim coach for Worthington Wave swim team, I coached children ranging from 4 to 14. I also worked at Kumon Math and Reading for two years with the Read more early learners. Which is hands on teaching the children how to count and say letters sounds which then turns into reading whole words and sentences. Last summer I nannied two boy ages 11 and 13, we would do activities such as crafts, outdoor games, going to the zoo, and the pool. I have recently started volunteering with the organization Big Brother Big Sister as well. I mentor a 7 year old girl. I love watching children because they always bring joy to me, you never know what each and every day will bring to you. I love being able to see the imagination that children always have. What makes me good at working with children is that I love to be hands on I will build things with them or do arts and crafts. I can discipline but also sooth and calm when needed. I have always had a very strong motherly instinct when with children.
