My name is Samantha McCarthy and although I have not gotten the opportunity to officially be a nanny, I have spent several years babysitting and working with children. Caring for children is something that I've always loved to do and something I am passionate about. I have worked with children all throughout junior high and high school. I was a preschool teacher's aid basically full time while I was homeschooled and continued to do that in my free time while I was attending school. I have volunteered for Vacation Bible School for the past 7 years working with preschoolers through sixth graders. Additionally, I provided after school childcare for staff members at the school for 4 years. For the past 4 years, I have provided care as needed since infancy for my young family members.In my spare time, I like to read, play volleyball, sing, draw, paint, bake, and spend Read more time with friends and family.One thing you should know about me is that I am passionate about giving children an environment that is safe and nurturing and developing a relationship with the children using positive and affirming boundaries, words, and actions in all interactions.
