Hi families, I'm Ashley I’m 29, married and have two girl chocolate labs who keep our home full of love and energy. You can find me enjoying any activity outdoors. I have a drive for learning about the world and am currently focused on caring for my family in the most healthy way. Spending time with family and friends is the heart of who I am. My dream is to one day live on a large piece of land where I can grow and provide for my family. I’ve always had a strong maternal nature and I can’t wait to start a family of my own someday. For the past 5 years I have been the general manager for a very large mobile food truck operation for a very wonderful husband and wife. This position has taught me a lot about running a business and many life skills. Although, in Read more this role I have learned that the demands of this job became stretching me too thin and time away from the things that keep me happy. I'm looking to come back to my lost passion. Before this job I worked in childcare for 8 years. I’ve always loved taking care of children, and there’s nothing more rewarding to me than watching them learn, grow, and develop into their own people and what they can accomplish. I believe that children thrive in environments where they feel safe, supported, and loved. Even though I don’t see it as a “job” out of all the jobs I’ve had, caring for and teaching children is my favorite. Although I have a gap in physically being in the childcare world. I come from a big family. My grandparents had 6 children and now I’m the oldest grandchild of 18. Growing up I was constantly surrounded by cousins. Helping care for them and jumping in wherever I was needed because I was a bit older. I also have twin brother and sister who are 15 years younger than me. Because of that, I’m no stranger to busy, energetic households. I adapt quickly, learn fast, and I’m able to handle things in even the most chaotic of environments. That’s why I’m able to provide in many caregiving roles. I have a genuine passion for kids and want to put my natural ability to connect with families back to use. I love being part of their journey, encouraging their creativity, supporting their milestones, and making sure the family feels like they are safe and loved. I bring both heart and experience.
