My name is Carly and I am a 28 year old mother currently going to school to finish my Early Childhood Education degree. I have worked on and off as a Babysitter/Nanny since 2008 and the most current family I Nannied for consisted of 2 children ages 4 and 7. I would make lunch, help the youngest with his letters and numbers to prepare him for kindergarten, we would read books, do arts and crafts projects, color, go on day trips to museums and parks, and we also used ABC Mouse daily to help prepare him for school as well. In the past with previous families I would help the children with homework, attend soccer games, help with gymnastic routines, do laundry, attend family trips out of town, tidy up the house, and anything else I could do to help the family. I have been a nanny for numerous families Read more over the years including a family that consisted of 7 children, 2 of which were on the Autism spectrum and diagnosed ADD so I am very comfortable watching multiple children as well as children who make this world even more enjoyable :). I also have 2 years worth of experience working as a Preschool Teacher at a Daycare Facility in Beavercreek, Ohio where I worked full time Monday-Friday in a class consisting of 14 preschoolers. I am CPR/AED certified and I used to be a certified lifeguard. I love animals of all kinds and I also love to stay active. I’ve always enjoyed having the tight knit bond of being a sitter for a single family where I am able to watch their children grow and learn over the years. I am comfortable working with children on all sorts of learning material whether it be their ABC's, addition and subtraction, or just singing songs and working on sign language skills. I have experience with potty training and diapering (including cloth diapers). I hope to make working with children my profession one day and I look forward to expanding my knowledge of teaching by finishing up my degree.
