Hello, my name is Nichole. I enjoy caring for children. The earliest years are when they are learning everything. It’s so important that they have a caring person to help them when their family isn’t around. Feelings of fear or insecurity can arise. Helping them by creating a fun activity so they can exert the creative parts of the brain and those fears no longer linger can be helpful. Or reading a book together so they can learn about another world or have an adventure is so much fun! I’ve cared for many children over the years. Ages 7 weeks to 14 years. Many with special needs including Autism, Angelmens Syndrome, and Fragile X. I worked in a daycare for disadvantaged children and those with behavioral challenges. I could really connect with those children who were struggling to fit in, and had other challenges. I took classes in childhood development, Read more and was trained as an EMT and Nursing Assistant when I was in high school through an accelerated program. I also had the opportunity to care for both of my Grandparents when they needed care in their home for 8 months in another state. It was a privilege.
