Hello, my name is Ashley. I am 27 years old and I have around 6.5 years experience in babysitting/nannying. I am the oldest sibling and cousin, so I have had a lot of experience caring for/ watching over children since I was about 10. I have taken care of and watched over children in ages 0-11 years old. I have experience in diaper changing and potty training so I am comfortable doing so for younger children. I am nurturing, patient, and the child’s needs and safety are my number one priority. I have a soft spot for kids, they are so cute and honestly incredibly smart. I’m amazed at how curious they are and the process in which they grow with each experience they have. I like to involve fun activities like coloring, making up fun games to play (including games to help the children learn colors, the alphabet, or Read more numbers which I have been asked to do in the past) I do not have a teaching degree but I do understand how important it is to at least lightly refresh the young mind so they can remember. I also like to include mini adventures such as walks, park visits, a trip to the library, going to get a treat, etc. I do know some of those would not be advisable as we still need to be safe due to covid. I also would only take the kids on these adventures with the approval of the parents first! I am pet friendly! I have two cats and a bearded dragon of my own so I am okay if you have any animals and will absolutely care for them as well if needed. I am okay with doing housework like laundry and dishes. I have worked for a parent who was strictly organic friendly so if there are any specific dietary restrictions or lifestyles I need to follow for the kids I am happy to oblige!
