My name is Jade. I grew up on a farm in Kansas with 3 older brothers. I started babysitting at the age of 10, and have always loved babies/young kids! I babysat all throughout high school. I went to college in Marquette, Michigan where I majored in Multimedia journalism. I graduated in 3 years and decided I wanted one more "fun year" so I moved to Ireland! I was an au pair for a year there for a great family. Near the end of my year i was introduced to a family in Kansas City that was thinking about getting a nanny before the birth of their third child. I met them and we immediately hit it off. I ended up staying with that family for the past 5 years, until my husband took a job here in Ohio. It was definitely bitter sweet to leave the kids I had Read more come to love as my own. Change is great and the opportunity for my husband to grow in his career is amazing, but leaving those (not so) babies was probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I know, however, that there is another perfect family out there waiting for me to love and nurture their little one(s)!
