We hired Carissa (Crissy) as our full time sitter in November and she decided to get paid yesterday and not show up today. NO NOTICE AT ALL! She has called off twice and been late on a DAILY basis since starting. We tried extremely hard to work with her and be understanding but no one should have to deal with a sitter just not showing up. That has put us in such a horrible spot and I am now looking at lost wages due to all of this. There were more issues than just this that I don't feel comfortable posting but I wanted to issue a warning to anyone that was thinking of hiring her because no family deserves to go through this. If you think you want to hire her, reach out to me and I'll tell you about the other issues as well. Trust me, you don't. Just a very sad situation all the way around because our girls got extremely attached to her. This is the first person other than my mother-in-law that has really watched our girls, and it ended like this.
