Hi, I’m Layla! I have previously worked for two families as a nanny, one family with a toddler boy and newborn girl, and the last with two toddler girls. But as this position comes to an end, I have started my search for a new family that could use some assistance! About me; I was originally interested in Secondary Education. I took courses throughout high school at Sinclair Community College. This gave me hands on experience in early education and time in elementary classrooms. I then pursued classes at Northern Kentucky University until deciding to take (what was supposed to be) a short break due to the pandemic. During that short break I discovered nannying and realized that this is the best career! I get to have all of the fun of teaching and watching children grow while still having the freedom to create my own day. I loved teaching Read more the current boy I watched a bit of sign language as I took courses in high school, and working with him on colors, letters, and learning to speak. While watching children I am also comfortable with pets! At my current family placement I watch two aussies! I can cook, clean, and run any errands necessary. CPR/First Aide Certified, and up-to-date on vaccines. I would love to take the kids to the parks or any other nearby activities!
