I am a young adult living and working in Kent, Ohio while attending school at Kent State University for Early Childhood Education so I may become a teacher down the road. I am the middle of five children at 23 years old. I have extensive experience working with children from babysitting over the years (this includes overnight stays), volunteering as a youth group leader at my local church throughout high school, working as a professional nanny, teaching children of all ages through a program my senior year of high school, as well as growing up taking care of my siblings and their friends. I am a very caring and sympathetic individual who strives to enjoy life and help others to do so as well. I love working with children because they inspire me to think outside of the box. Children think differently than adults and because they question everything, they remind us as adults to do so as well. In the process of children learning and processing new information I almost always learn something new as well whether it is about weather patterns, space, or just a new recipe. As your child's caregiver I would love to be able to help them learn and develop new skills and encourage them to dream and want to learn in order to achieve those dreams.
