My history is in education, having received my Master's degree in 2012 & teaching a wide range of age for a number of years. While attending college, I worked as a nanny & following the birth of my child I began to work as a full-time nanny. I have 10+ years of experience. I am an advocate for alternative education and schooling. We utilize montessori, waldorf, unschooling, nature-based learning and traditional homeschooling methods. I encourage children to pursue their interests and support them in their investigation/education. Supporting a chemical-free, artificial fragrance-free, healthy environment is important to me. I do everything I can to develop the natural development of children. Food prepared is largely unprocessed, gluten-free, organic and always non-gmo. I enjoy taking children to local market to pick out their foods and work in gardens together, to teach them how to grow their own. I am looking for the right family to support either part or full-time, that shares these ideas and beliefs. Educational outings are especially important and I like to incorporate at least 1 each week. Some examples would be: the Zoo, the Children's Museum, Nature centers, nature preserves and local farm visits.
