When I was 10, my family started hosting kids through a temporary foster care program. I loved the idea of having a younger sibling and from then on, I knew I needed to work with kiddos. I led a small group at my church the last 6 years, I have worked as a camp counselor with SpringHill for the past 2 summers, I have acted as a mentor and assistant coach to my school's youth dance team and this previous school year I was a Family Science major at Miami University. I have been babysitting for neighbors and friends since middle school. I have a youthful imagination so I find myself relating to how kids think. Everyone who meets me describes me as a "kid at heart" :)
