I have been a babysitter for the same family for over a year. I actually started babysitting for this family after I met the mother at grocery store I used to work at. We got along great and she asked me if I have ever babysat before (I had not). She gave me a chance to care for her 3 boys 1 y/o, 3 y/o, and 5 y/o at the time. I am very reliable and I can be as strict as the parent (sometimes more strict if need be). I babysat her boys for 10 days and 9 nights in December just so her and her husband could go on a vacation together. I am willing to get certified in first aid and CPR if required by parents.
