My name is Ashleigh Cowan and I have 3 years experience looking after children. While a sophomore in college I started working at a Montessori Community School working with school-age children during my college breaks. At the Montessori I also worked with children ages 6 weeks old to 11 years old and I even have experience working with children with developmental delays. I have First Aide and CPR certified and I have my bachelor's degree in English. I knew I wanted to teach and look after children from the time I was a junior in high school; helping children learn and become who they are meant to be is what I know I am meant to do and it warms my heart to even learn something from the kids I look after sometimes. I am currently working at Newark High School as a math assistant and before that I was Read more assisting in kindergarten education.
