Meet Maggie

Hi there! My name is Maggie and I am 22 years old. I was able to move to Yosemite National Park in California about a month ago where I was blessed to work in the daycare for the workers children in the valley. I never knew how full my soul could become just by working a job, but that is when I found my love for the daycare. Growing up in a family of 8, I have always been a people person, and always cared for my siblings whenever my mother needed help. Funny story- when my sister had her first child the only people allowed to babysit was my mother and I, because she knew how wonderful I was with kids. I have also helped nanny for my neighbors and family friends. I truly believe it is my calling. I am certified in CPR and first aid because I Read more had lifeguarded for about 3/4 years. I also strive to become a neonatal nurse practitioner in the future, to help families that are going through one of the hardest times in their life become more comfortable. One of my favorite things about nannying and daycare is being able to help mold the child. Young children are like sponges; they soak everything in. From actions, words, and even mannerisms, they are always watching and learning. To have the chance to teach the upcoming generation love and compassion to all is a concept that makes me so happy.
