After high school I went to a community college for a year while I was an after school babysitter. I then worked at BioLife Plasma as a playroom attendant and receptionist for a year to then go back to being a nanny (full time). After that employment came to an end, I have been at University Hospitals (UH) full time for five years and love continuing to babysit on the side - such as weekends and weekday evenings! Every scheduling period at RBC, I just have a minimum amount of hours that I am required to schedule, so as long as I meet the minimum, I can schedule as much as I would like or I can just work the minimum, allowing me this flexibility. This has given me experience as a nursing assistant caring for the kiddos on all of their units, including: the cardiac stepdown, the pediatric ICU, the child and adolescent psychiatric unit, their peds med/surg unit, the NICU stepdown, the respiratory floor, the GI/GU floor, & their pediatric hematology/oncology unit!
