Hello! My name is Marcia. I am a 26 year old nanny with about 3 1/2 years of teaching experience prior to my nanny experience. I have currently been with my nanny family since August of 2022 helping take care of 2 boys (1 and 4). However, I am seeking something new due to my current family taking a different child-care route and having one of the parents stay-at-home. I can and will provide references from my current family upon request. I care daily for the children with food prep, travel to and from school, nap time, diaper changes, light housework, and lots of playtime and activities! I am also a certified primary Montessori lead teacher. I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Youth Development. I have taught both preschool and kindergarten for 3 years in a multi age classroom. Read more I am familiar with academic needs, state standards & curriculum at the early childhood level. While I have no children of my own, I absolutely adore working with them! While I value many things some of the key highlights are, consistency, routine, effective communication with the children, and a child’s social and emotional growth.
