Babysitting kids in my neighborhood was my first job as a preteen/teenager. Later on I worked as a nanny for a family with four children (ages 5-14) in the year before attending university. After finishing my Bachelors I worked for a year in Germany as an au pair (a live-in foreign nanny) for a family with two girls (ages 5 and 7). Though I don't have much experience with infants, I am open to learning. Depending on your needs, I'm flexible with how I can help out your family. In past positions I've been responsible for a variety of things, including meal prep, homework help, light housekeeping, laundry, pet care, plant care, pick-ups/drop-offs, and ensuring the kids practice their musical instruments to name a few. I enjoy outdoor activities, reading, arts and crafts and music (though I lack any musical abilities myself). I'm patient and caring and kids tend to really respond to me. I also speak German, so if you're interested in having your kid(s) learn a new language and you want to get them some materials for it, I'd be happy to help them work through that and practice!
