I love children and have cared for them in some way or other nearly all my life.  First, of course, I was a babysitter for my younger brothers.  I then moved on to care for the neighbors' children as well. I then moved on to take several different babysitting jobs before landing with a family that I stayed with for 5 years, at which point I had graduated college and the kids were old enough and no longer needed a nanny as much and so I chose to move on. Since then, I have gone through several different careers but taking care of kids has always been near and dear to my heart and I would love to get back to it. I would like to mention that a couple of years ago I got myself an ESA, a 70 lb black lab dog. He is super friendly and sweet, never Read more been aggressive towards anyone and generally just wants to be around people at all times. He's very well trained, although of course that would be an adjustment period in a new household, but is also crate trained so he could stay in the crate during the day while I am fulfilling my responsibilities if need be. I do not mind if there are other dogs in the household, he gets along well with other dogs, although he tends to prefer people. I would elaborate more on this if you choose to move forward with me as I understand that bringing another animal and another person into a household is a big step and it wouldn't be the right move for every family, which is completely understandable. I am open to live in and live out positions, however I would like to mention at this time that I do not have my own car and it will likely be another 6 months to a year minimum before I can afford to get one. I do have a really good driving record and great auto insurance that covers when I am driving other people's cars. So I am open to using a family car to run errands or drive the kids to school or what not if necessary. I do have people that can drive me back and forth, depending on the distance and the time of day. I would also like to mention that I am moving out to the South Bloomfield, Ohio area mid-April which is when my availability will start.
