I graduated in 1987 in the top 10% of my nursing class, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. I worked as a registered nurse in the PICU for 3 years until my first child was born. I spent the next 20 years home-educating my 4 children. My youngest will graduate from high school this May and I'm looking to help care for and educate the next generation. I've written a holistic home-ec curriculum that I've published, and I would enjoy teaching your child / children about healthful nutrition and cooking. I also have taught safety and CPR classes and worked as a nursing supervisor with Alzheimer's residents. I currently volunteer at the UT crisis pregnancy center and volunteer through my church with Conversation Partners, mentoring and helping a UT international student with her English.
