Children hold the worlds most precious secrets. As we grow, many of us lose touch with our ability to be mystified by the most simplistic of life's treasures, our childlike wonder, and our creative imaginary abilities due to an imposing society of abundant influences. About me: My name is Emily Handler and I am 22 years old. Right now my main focus is to regain connection to nature, ancient wisdom, and the inner workings of my being. I'll be traveling to India and Paris for the month of April and back to Peru at the end of June. Here I'll be going to a small school to study and work with plant medicines. I can be available to you at any time, any day from December 27th until March 30th. All of May and half of June. I will be working to assist you in instilling your rules and values as parents while integrating my own expectations. I will always be a loving and kind force in their lives, however, there are behaviors that won't be tolerated. Your child/children will learn very quickly from me, if they haven't already, the art of patience. That's to say not talking over people/interrupting phone calls and possibly waiting to get exactly what they want. Saying please and thank you. Using their voices and words instead of whining and screaming. The techniques I've used/continue to use have proven to be very successful. The ultimate goal is the assist them in doing the right thing and in turn being proud of what they've done and who they are. You and I will be working as a team. The way I work with children is specific to their personalities, talents/hobbies, fears and phobias, needs, and special needs if any. I'm fun loving and fully energetic. I am always willing to help with homework, read stories, play (whatever that entails - we can be creative), cook, clean, organize, provide transportation to and from school/ grocery store trips, etc. I have worked with/am willing to work with babies, toddlers, adolescents, and teenagers. And whatever else you as parents need from me. My personal preference: I charge 17 dollars an hour and need 25 hours a week at minimum.
