Hi! I’m Sam, I began my job as a nanny/ babysitter for family, and over the years I worked with different families in the northern Ohio area. I found that spending time with infants and children ended up being therapeutic and worthwhile. I do my best to provide full attention to not only their needs, but to also participate in their developmental milestones. It is nice to put aside the stressors of life and be in the moment, as we all once had in our childhood. I have two loving cats that are my everything, and when I meet that special someone, I too will be able to have the opportunity to be a mother:) but for now, I live my life in perusing a career in the medical field and working for my fur babies. I am currently in school to complete my degree in Chemistry in hopes to Read more work with doctors and scientists at the OSU James Cancer Center for research. My goal is to take part in further understanding leukemia and lymphoma, in efforts to develop a safe and more effective way of treating aggressive forms of cancer with less medical complications in the patient’s future. With experience as a pharmaceutical technician and volunteer EMT, techniques used for bedside manners, de escalation, and rapid medical assessment has continued to fuel my interest in the medical/ psychological field, and plays a role in how I approach situations with developing children.
