I have been a teacher for over 15 years and am raising my own two school aged children. I would love to work with your family part time, while me own kids are in school or even help after school when my own kids would be around too!

I have 2 nieces and a nephew that I adore. Being around children gives you a fresh perspective that is needed within adult minds. I used to work at a daycare for about a year with kids ranging from month old babies to middle school children. I volunteered for the zoo and helped with the zoo camp. I also was able to teach a couple lessons to second graders. I used to tutor high school students and help them out with their homework. I also used to babysit and value outside time to play.

MY EXPERIENCE I am blessed to be a mom, but my baby is now an adult and out on his own! I am a stepmom to a live-in young adult male with autism, and this experience has taught me how to communicate in a whole new way. In addition to being a parent, I was a babysitter for many years in my teens. I currently babysit the children of extended family members whenever possible! WHY I LOVE IT I was recently laid off from my corporate job and have decided to switch gears and follow my heart by pursuing a part-time job caring for children. Working with children makes me happy. I truly enjoy watching them grow and live life to their potential. Being a part of that journey is extremely rewarding. I am someone who will show up, engage with your children, help them develop, and reinforce your household routines and rules.
