Hi! My name is Abigail, and I am looking for a summer job as a nanny! I absolutely love kids, and I always have. I think that kids are some of the best companions you can have. Not to mention, they are so funny. I have always loved children-playing with them, taking care of them, etc.-so much so that when I took my babysitting course when I was 12, I signed up and paid for a second course myself so I could get all of the online materials! I believe that there is so much to learn from children, but there is also so much to teach them. One of the things that I find to be most important is that they must learn their importance in this world, and how they have the immense capability to make a difference. This is why I am becoming a teacher, so I Read more can instill this knowledge into the minds of children who may be insecure, or not know what the world holds for them. I am about to finish up my junior year at Ashland University, and I have had two (three, kind of) field experiences. One being in an elementary school, and another in a high school. My middle school field experience was in an online forum called "SimSchool." Not my favorite thing in the world, as I didn't get to have that in-person experience, however it was definitely the safest option due to COVID-19. I love to have fun and go on adventures with children. Engaging with them is an absolute blast, and I love to plan new things to do and experiences to have. I want kids to have as much fun as possible with me, as learning happens best when you are actually experiencing something! I currently have my first of two vaccinations, and I am scheduled for my second one on April, 16th.
