I am a student at UCO who is about to start the BSN program. My schedule is part time and needs to work around my class/clinical times. I am CPR certified as well. I worked in the youth and family department at the Rankin and Mitch Park YMCA for 3 years. There I was a counselor, Lead, and Coordinator. I worked with kids ranging from ages of 3 months to 12 years old. I helped organize activities, supervise children, and lead my staff. I have since left the YMCA and been a nanny for a family since last year in September. For this family I do light housework, meal prep, school pick up, dinners, and other task. This family isn’t going to work with my new schedule so I will have to leave them at the end of July. I am able to start the second week of August.
