Hello families!! My name is Kasey Aufiero, and I am 21 years old! A little bit about myself is that I love to be creative! I have been blessed with different skills and passions such as singing, playing guitar and piano, painting, making mosaics, knitting, and other random hobbies! I thrive on structure and consistency, but I also enjoy being spontaneous, learning new things and going on adventures! I recently graduated from OCCC with a degree in Child Development, and I believe my course work has well prepared me to care for, help and teach children during their early years. I happily worked as a lead teacher for a year in a child care center, and discovered my passion in life. I baby sat 3 children, 3 days a week in the summer during highschool. I am a highly qualified paraprofessional, and have experience volunteering with children who have specialized Read more needs. I enjoy children and helping them reach their full potential developmentally, providing a safe and secure environment for children to grow in. The reason I would be good for this job is that ultimately, I just want to be a mother. I can imagine no greater job than helping a child to reach their full potential and being able to watch them grow and develop. I love working with children, they teach me so much about life that I couldn't learn in a classroom. I can relate easily to children and have learned great patience and love because of them.
