I have been a volunteer at my church's nursery since I was 15 years old. I have 6 years of experience working with children ages newborn to five years old. Besides the church kids, I also spend weeks at a time caring for my cousins ages 9 and 13 and my youngest brother aged 13. I am a Junior at the University of Central Oklahoma majoring in Biology and minoring in English. I love animals and I plan to use my degree to further my education in Wildlife Conservation. I am an adventurous, outdoor person that enjoys visits to the Oklahoma City Zoo, going on camping trips, having picnics at the park, going on bike rides around the lake, and roller skating. On my free time I also enjoy painting and cooking. I have owned just about any pet you can think of, but right now I just have a Read more chihuahua that I have had for the last 7 years, two tame love birds and a friendly parrotlet. In my college coursework I have taken human development courses that have really helped me understand the development of a child in each stage of his/her life.
