Being the oldest of 5 girls, I always considered "babysitting" my first job! Throughout the years I have nannied/babysat for many families and have loved every second. I'm 38 years old and was an infant and special needs nanny in Portland for many years before returning to southern Oregon to open my own business which has subsequently closed. My oldest is in college at SOU, my stepson is 9 and is my weekend buddy. I'm comfortable with all aspects of infant and child care. I'm tidy, not scared of housework, I love to cook and bake, read (love my library!), I listen to NPR, TV is just background noise to me though I prefer music. I have babysat for many years. I love children and making connections with them and watching them grow.
