My name is Maya Stewart, and I’m a first year nursing student at OHSU (at the SOU Ashland campus). I’m working towards getting my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing to hopefully be a pediatric nurse practitioner, so working with kids is a passion that I intend to fulfill for a long time. I’m a graduate from South Eugene High School and during my 4 years there I was heavily involved in the child development program. I was hired to work at the on-campus preschool, Kids Down South, for 2 years as a junior and senior.
