I have been taking care of children for 7 years. What started as babysitting for fun turned into nannying, and became a passion for me. I am now in college studying to be an elementary school teacher/special education teacher. At 19 years old, I moved to Paris, France and worked as an Au Pair (nanny) for 16 months with a fantastic family. It was an incredible experience, and am back home now ready for the next awesome family to work for! I have experience working with infants age 3 months up to 14 year old pre-teens (Who, don't need a babysitter, in their opinion ;) ) I have worked in an after school and at a private daycare, as well as in-home care as a nanny. As for nannying I normally have up to 3 kids at once (Although one weekend I had 5!), and I can handle that much Read more business. I do prefer working with 3 kids at most normally though, because I really enjoy getting to know them each individually and being able to give them each individual attention. Some things I usually do with the kids I nanny for include: playing games, doing crafts, help with homework, play outside, create games with them to encourage imagination and creativity, clean up and tidy during naps (as well as positively encouraging them to clean up after their individual activities are completed) and going to parks, museums, zoos, or anything else fun and educational! Right now, I am a nanny locally for a family with a 2 yr old, 5 yr. old, and 7 yr old. It's busy and really enjoyable. I have several available references and am happy to complete a background check! Also CPR trained. I hope this gives you a good idea of my personal experience and goals as a nanny!
