Hi there! My name is Nevaeh Budworth, and I grew up inside of a summer camp (literally) where we brought kids hiking, camping, backpacking, rafting, ziplining, caving, and so many more adventures and have grown to love living life outside. With this experience, I also have been put into childcare positions quite early, and am passionate about helping families live the life they want, even through life's tough circumstances. Experience: I started babysitting at just ten years old, which led to volunteering in the nursery at church at 14, and became a nursery staff leader at 15. At this age I also started Cabin leading at the summer camp (Camp Jonah) where I was primarily responsible for the welfare and care of a group of 8 or fewer campers while camp was in session for the week. I maintained diligent supervision, constant alertness, and care for campers’ safety, physical needs, Read more and emotional needs. I received rigorous training covering child safety and protocols for high and low ropes courses. Since then I have also gotten training and certified in CPR/First Aid for infants, children, and adults. About me: Now you already know my love for the outdoors, but beyond that, I am also passionate about pursuing my career path in architecture, which I have just finished year two of six of at Portland State University; If you're one to care, I have a cumulative GPA of 3.8. I have only held official paying jobs in cafe and coffee shops, and loved this position, but am ready for a change, and have always loved working with kids. My availability: I would love to work full-time through the summer, working weekdays, and ideally morning-afternoon rather than evening. Then, once I return back to school at the end of September, I am interested in working part-time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I look forward to meeting you and your precious kiddo(s)!
