What make me a great babysitter is the fact that i’m very enthusiastic & playful with children, as well as gentle & protective, ensuring their safety by being very attentive, since it’s my top priority. I also am a very respectful & honest person. I am registered in the oregon background registry, so i am able to work with children, and although i don’t have other certificates yet, im studying for them & working on it, as my willingness to obtain is because i wanna do my best & be knowledgeable without missing anything. While i have experience taking care of kids from newborn to 7 years old, i also have experience with autistic children from ages 18months to 7 years old, so i am very accepting of verbal & physical stims, repetition, nonverbal children & so on. Along with that, am experienced in kids who have meltdowns, SIB in Read more autism, get overstimulated by loud sounds, or underestimulated by their environment, and because i’m analytic as well, i notice if a child is hyper or hyposensitive to things or mixed in sensory sensitivities. Similarly, i have experience in children with adhd as well, so im very patient, and don’t mind if their attention span is short and they can only pay attention to me for a few seconds then wander off & come back. Although i cannot provide transportation or cook besides make pancakes, warm food up & cut food up for younger children, I still will do my upmost best at what i can. Nevertheless, i am also experienced in children who are atypical, shy, energetic, quiet, loud, & so forth, i accept them no matter race or gender or anything because i do not discriminate. Additionally, i also am observant, so i pay attention if kids meet certain milestones or not. Similarly to my experience with kids, i also love pets a lot & have experience with dogs & cats, and i don’t mind reptiles like chameleons & such, so if there are any pets in home while I’m babysitting, they aren’t bothersome. All in all, I just hope the best experiences for children & their wellbeing.
