Before after school childcare ages 5-12 got me started working with kiddo’s; I have supervised multiple children in both classroom settings where I led different projects as well as outdoor adventures such as camping, day trips to the beach, and museums! I was then presented with an opportunity to work with kids ages 2-5 through developing and running a year-round Enrichment class at my neighborhood community center in Laurelhurst; we got messy with art, cooking, science, reading, tumble time and more! In my next adventure I was fortunate enough to Nanny for a Professor of Early Childhood Development, two precious kiddos and a sweet pup along with another family with a set of twins! Most recently I had the privilege to Nanny for a professional couple and their two cuties for the past 1. 5 years along with a set of 13-month-old twins whom I just finished caring for! I Read more love all pets too! I have experience with all size dogs, cats, snakes, bunnies, etc. My husband and I also have a pack of dogs and we love to Ruff-house on our beautiful acreage! I believe children need safety, fun, love, fun, consistency, and more fun! I don't put them in front of the TV - I engage kids with crafts, reading, outdoor scavenger hunts and more! Additional skills and experience -> Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist (medically inclined and comfortable with caring for your child if need-be), both comfortable and experienced with dosing and administering medication, familiar with dietary restrictions such as gluten free and toddler diarrhea. I am also a licensed cosmetologist and can provide extra hair care and haircuts for children, childcare supervisor, domestic engineer, pet parent, confectionery creator, and excellent cook with experience in using and maintaining high end kitchen ware such as cast iron, Le Creuset, and Joules.
