Hello, I ran my own daycare in Palm Springs California, for five years (1996 - 2001) before moving back to Oregon. I was licensed by the State of California, and had a federal background check. I took many extra classes during the five years I had my daycare open, to enrich the children with new items/ideas. I worked with the State food program to serve nutritious meals and did monthly meal plans. I served three meals and two snacks per day. I was licensed for up to 8-10 children depending on the age groups. I took care of 8 weeks old to 13 years old with many being siblings. I would like to work as a Babysitter now, due to my home being too small to have a day care in it. I have raised three children of my own, which are adults now. My youngest child is 20 and Read more has just gone to College this year in Portland. I love working with children and have four grandchildren I love to visit. I have a very reliable car; it is a Toyota 4 runner and seats five nicely. I have lived in Grants Pass for sixteen years, and I was born in Portland. I am very active and love to go to the park and to do outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and short field trips. Love animals of all kinds.
