Hello Future Employer, My Name is Jazlynn, and I am 20 years old, however many people say I seem very mature for my age. I am from Oregon but am wanting and planning to move to New York City. I have seven siblings, the youngest one being three years old. Growing up around so many children has definitely made caring for them second nature. My family also owns a daycare so I grew up working and volunteering there. I currently am attending University and am working on getting my bachelors degree in business. For the past two years I worked as a direct support professional taking care of adults with physical and developmental disabilities. The job taught me compassion, empathy, and it gave me a deeper understanding of how the mind works. I loved that job but I am ready to move on and start working with children again. In Read more high school I earned an honors diploma and an athlete scholar award every year. I was in the National Honors Society, Pathways to Healthcare Careers Club, and I was on the dance team. I also volunteered at the local hospital every week. This shows that I am responsible and capable of completing many different tasks that are assigned to me. In college I have been on the deans list each semester and have been working 40+ hour weeks to be able to afford to pay for all of my bills. This shows that I have a high work ethic and will do whatever it takes to make sure I have everything I need. I would also do anything for the people I care about to make sure they are happy and comfortable. I realize that I may be younger or have less qualifications than some other applicants but I can promise to care for your children at the highest level possible. We will have lots of fun and learn tons of new things. Your kids will be my top priority while they are in my care. Thank you, Jazlynn
