I am from originally from New York but have been living in Portland, OR for the past 5 years. I attended Lewis and Clark College, majoring in psychology and studied theatre directing. I am moving back to NYC on September 1! No matter what else I'm doing, childcare is always part of it. I nannied a wonderful family of 2 girls throughout college, part time and full time and regularly babist a beautiful 1 year old, since she was 4 months. I was an assistant Kindergarten teacher during my sophomore year of college and in my last year of school I started to work at a fitness center with a daycare and have been there for over a year now. Children seriously fill my bucket!! I am fueled by their energy, creativity, honesty and boundless curiosity. I am CPR certified, have worked with every age from 2 months-13 years, full time, part time, and have experience with up to 5 infants at the same time, 6 toddlers or 15 3 year olds. At the daycare I helped create arts and movement curriculums. I have been a kickboxing instructor and a softball coach and have tutored elementary math, reading, and French. I am a good cook and a devotedly fast learner. I believe children have an immense capacity to learn from and explore the world and I want to do everything I can to encourage and enhance that.
