I've been working with children since I was fifteen. I am currently a junior at the University of Oregon, studying to become a teacher. I love working with children because I get to help them learn and explore the world, and childcare is an opportunity to do that on a one-on-one, personalized basis. I have been babysitting for six years. My experience babysitting is mostly with children ages 1-4. I have also worked as a group leader for three years at Cedar Mill Bible Church's Summer VBS program. In addition, I've volunteered as a teacher's assistant in classrooms at Findley and McCornack Elementary Schools, and at the homework club at Roosevelt Middle School. I've taken three courses on Teaching Elementary Math, and I'm an avid reader, so I am happy to tutor children, or simply help them build their critical learning skills.
