Hi, my name is Avalon, experienced childcare provider and mother to a one-year old. I have been working with children for about ten years now, providing care for 15 children, ranging one month – nine years-old, for nine families. I continue to work with children, because it is truly a passion! I enjoy interacting with and teaching children, through age-appropriate activities, arts and crafts. dance and song, science exploration and more! I'm always eager to find new and exciting ways to both entertain and teach. It's so magical to watch a child learn something new! I practice compassionate, gentle parenting and find it very important to create a nurturing, safe environment for children to feel comfortable to be and express themselves genuinely. When a child is with me, I want them to feel they're home, away from home. I would -be bringing my one-year old with me to work, but I can assure you, she is a very easy-going, happy girl who is fairly independent for her age. With previous work, she has done exceptionally well. In fact, the current girl I watch, who is a few months shy of my daughter, absolutely loves her company, which is helped contribute to the happiness of my clients, both child and parents!
