Hey there! I have been working as an instructor at Trackers Earth since May '14 , before that was an expedition guide doing white water rafting, canoeing, and rock climbing. I live one block from Johnson Creek Park, 5 blocks from Westmoreland, and 1 mile from the south end of Oaks Bottom Park. I am hoping to find a family/child (or two) that is enthusiastic about learning various outdoors skills including carving, fire starting, tracking, gardening, and tinkering (I have a hydro-electric generator project I'm working on that they can jump in on.) In addition to these hard skills, I emphasize personal growth, resilience, responsibility, empathy, and risk analysis. If you have a young dog that needs training, I am open to working with both your child and canine together. Currently I bike everywhere, but I am getting a vehicle this winter. I have my CPR, First Aid, and Oregon Read more Food Handler's certifications.
