Hello! My name is Arline Weaver and I am a special educator. I am currently entering my 5th year teaching at a school for students with behavioral and emotional needs. While it can be tiring I love the work I do and see my self continuing in the field for a very long time. In the past, I have supported in classrooms as a para educator, supported students one-on-one with disabilities at summer camps, and lead after school programs. I’ve regularly babysat families here in Portland as well. I received my bachelors in education from the University of Vermont ( where I’m from!) and my masters and special education endorsement at PSU. I hope to one day pursue a reading endorsement and potentially become a reading specialist. I’m most comfortable working with age ranges 4-10 but am absolutely open to other ages, this is just where I have the most Read more experience.
