Hey there! My name is Anya. I am a recent Gonzaga University graduate who was born and raised in Portland. I absolutely adore working with kids and pets. In high school I was a Youth Volunteer and Camp Counselor at the Oregon Humane Society during which I taught elementary school kids how to work safely with animals. During college I volunteered at Portland Tennis & Education where I worked with at-risk kids in the St. John's area. I have also worked as a daytime nanny and homework tutor for a local family. My duties included working with their 14 year old son with developmental delays, assisting with household logistics, and helping to care for their 7 pets. Currently I am working at the Parry Center for Children, which is a residential mental health treatment facility for kids. As a Skills Trainer, my job is to coach kids aged 5 to Read more 18 in social and emotional coping skills. I strive to be a fun, compassionate and enthusiastic caregiver! I look forward to meeting you and your family!
