Hello! I have been working with children and/or as a nanny for over ten years. In the past, I have worked as a live-in nanny, full time nanny, summer only nanny, and have taught music and dance to children from ten months to twelve years of age in various settings. I have very much enjoyed working with children and young people over the years, and consider myself to be a flexible, adaptable, kind, and patient nanny and teacher. When caring for children, I enjoy planning arts/crafts projects, reading time, outdoor time, cooking/baking, and self-guided play. I have experience with bottle preparation, diapers, infant-age activities, and additional meal prep/dietary needs for children under the age of one year. In addition, I have experience assisting young children in music classes, gymnastics classes, library story times, and other social activities. I have earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in flute performance and studied music education for three of my four year of undergraduate study before changing my degree plan to performance. During college and beyond, I’ve been fortune to work regularly with young children through high school aged musicians and flutists. When not caring for others, I enjoy playing the flute and piano, walking/jogging, creating art, meditation, living a vegan/environmentally aware lifestyle, being outdoors, sewing, and cooking.
