Dear Parents, I love kids! I find children to be utterly precious and completely fascinating. I never had children of my own so I am always excited when opportunities arise to care for others' children. I think kids love me because they know right away that I respect them and they can trust me. Plus, I love to have fun with them. I'm not too shy to play like I'm five years old. It makes my heart happy. I love reading to kids and getting their take on the book. I have learned some amazing things from these kiddos. I tutored other students all the way from first grade to when I graduated college. I loved the interaction and it gave me such joy to be helping others. So, helping with homework and studying is no problem at all. My most recent employment was admitting patients to the Emergency Room Read more at my local hospital. It was extremely fast-paced, it demanded excellent multitasking abilities and, most importantly, it required strong decision making skills. I excelled in that position but after 8.5 years I relocated to care for my elderly Grandparents. What I truly miss the most about the hospital andwas being able to make a difference in the patient's life by being human, kind and compassionate toward them in their time of need. Speaking of compassion, the hands-on caring for my Grandparents was one of the hardest jobs I ever loved. I also spent most of my life's savings doing it but I wouldn't change a thing. It meant so much to me that through patience and love I was able to keep their pride and dignity intact even while changing their undergarments or bathing them. They were both role models to me. They taught me to work hard, to treat others as I wanted to be treated, to always be generous, and to always have a smile for everyone. I felt so fortunate to be able to give back to them. While carrying for them, I had an active CPR Certification. I would be happy to be recertified if you are interested in me doing so. I have been double vaccinated and boosted so we can all be as safe as possible. Animals can make a house a home so I appreciate their magic and would love to interact with your fur babies. So, now I have rambled a bit and my hope is that you know me a bit better. I would be honored to care for your precious bundle of joy. Thank you. Sincerely, Julie McCormick
