Hi! I'm currently a Sophomore Journalism Major at San Diego State University. I'm looking to stay in California this summer to help take care of your child(ren). I have extensive experience in child care as I have worked three years at Knowledge Learning Corporation where my responsibilities included the general care and well-being of children between the ages of infant through Pre-K. My duties include, but are not limited to the following: • Lead circle time which includes reading, singing, and general cognitive development. • Taught and reinforced consistent good behavior. • Prepared food and bottles for snack and meal time. • Supervised both outdoor and indoor activities. • Created a relaxed environment and prepared children for nap time. • Assisted children with toileting and changing clothes. • Updated parents and guardians with daily reports both in person and through the Kinder Care App. • Carried out strict cleaning schedule Read more which included sanitizing toys, tables, mirrors, sinks, and toilets. More about some of my education and volunteer work: Southridge High School - Graduated June 2021 San Diego State University - Current Sophomore, Journalism/Media Studies Major Accumulated 266 volunteer hours at Southridge High School. Hours accumulated through the following programs. • Miss Washington County Outstanding Teen Title Holder 2019-2020. Some of the volunteering through this program included assisting with activities at Doernbecher Children's Hospital, Play Fit Fun, Race for the Cure, The Hillsboro Hops Baseball Games, and a Teacher Appreciation Events • Hawkettes Varsity Dance Team. Some of the volunteering through this program included assisting with activities at Paint the Community, The Nike Special Olympics, Junior Dance Clinics, Hosting Dance Competitions, Beaverton Half Marathon, and Race for the Cure. • Boys Varsity Basketball Team Manager.
