I’m a current High School teacher in the PPS district with a Masters in Teaching. Prior to that I was an early interventionist for elementary age children on the Autism spectrum, a 1:1 aid in an after school and summer camp inclusion program, and an after school and summer camp group leader for children ages 4+. I’ve also babysat the infants of friends and family. I come from a large family of 6, with many nieces and nephews, so caring for children has been something I’ve been doing my entire life. I think reading and play based learning are important to child development, and I believe that kids should be treated with the same amount of respect as any adult. After all, they’re little people!
